Exported Excel negative format has wrong parentheses [message #478918]

Using BIRT 2.3.0 when I export numerics to Excel the output format is
being generated as Format="#,##0;(#,##0)###" As you can see the right
parenthesis is misplaced. Has anyone else seen this and is there
something I can do to prevent it from happening?
