uml model with profile application [message #476711] Thu, 06 December 2007 18:12 Go to next message

Hello,

I read many threads on how to load a uml model on which there are applied
profiles, but I have still a problem in doing my eclipse plugin.

I have a uml model on which a profile p (in a separate file) is applied. When I
retrieve profile applications and the related profiles, the applied profile
can't not be resolved (for example to get the profile name). I mean, the profile
is still a proxy (with a correct reference to the profile file/resource) and in
the meantime the profile is non null.

I don't really know what other information may I provide. In the UML editor, I
can see my model with the correct profile application. The uml model is owned by
a UMLRessourceImp...

many thanks...

Just to say that I fixed my problem. I don't really know the exact "how", but
when i load the model using a platform resource it works (previously, it was an
absolute path). Resources are really confusing..
