When we had our conference calls, we were always talking about provisioning
(which is not part of our packaging project). But we had to learn very fast
that most people are not satisfied with the current Eclipse Update
Mangager.
Now there is a proposal from Pascal available. In general they want to
create a replacement for the Update Manager, but read yourself:
