Can Infocenter display files other than HTML and PDF? [message #475429]

My customer documents his procedures in small Word docs and Excel
spreadsheets. Instead of converting these files to HTML or PDF, I'd like
Infocenter to use a browser that knows how to display Word docs and Excel
spreadsheets.

Is this possible? Does anyone have an example of how to do this?

If I can't tell Infocenter to use a browser that supports Word and Excel
files, how can I automate converting these files to HTML or PDF? Any
examples?
