Dear OHF IHE plugin and IHE Bridge User,

We wanted to inform you of some changes coming up for 2008-2009.

Over the past two years a new open source organization, dedicated solely
to healthcare technology, has emerged: Open Health Tools (see:
www.openhealthtools.org). OHT grew out of Eclipse and Eclipse OHF and is
targeting a broader range of healthcare technology services and
stakeholders. We see this organization as a natural evolution from the
roots we planted with OHF and that Eclipse expertly helped to foster.
Eclipse has been a wonderful way to incubate this effort in healthcare
IT. After much discussion among the committers and several loyal users,
we have established new top level project in OHT dedicated to IHE
Profile implementation. All updates to the existing code (IHE plugins
and Bridge) will be released here, under the EPL license, for the 2009
Connectathon season. For more information on the project please see:
https://iheprofiles.projects.openhealthtools.org/. We have made one more
build available on the OHF downloads site to fix bug number 243409
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=243409). This is the
final stable build for 0.3.0 reflecting IHE profile implementation for
the 2007-2008 cycle.

We look forward to growing our community in this organization. We invite
you to join our the user forum:
users@iheprofiles.projects.openhealthtools.org available on the web at
http://iheprofiles.projects.openhealthtools.org/ds/viewForum s.do.
Please, do not hesitate to post your questions there that the website
does not address.

best regards,
Matt, Sarah, Sondra (IHE plugin and Bridge development team)
