Hello I am again,

Now I found the right Editor "Visual Page Designer" for JSPs.

I was blind to read the newsgroup, but what can you say to the sometimes
"signed" Plugins.

Have to be all with a green check-symbol in Windows XP?

May be at my configuration are errors or whats the meaning of "signed"

Oh sorry, they are in "HELP" -> "About ECLIPSE SDK" -> "Plug-in Details",
in Eclipse 3.3RC1. There are the status of the Plug-Ins.
Now I tried Eclipse 3.3RC2 and there are some little crosses behind a medal.
Is that correct?

I don't know if it is correct, I seem to have a lot of unsigned bundles
and don't have an problems. I would check to make sure that the versions
you are using are correct. The versions of the dependencies (GEF, EMF
etc.) that you listed do not appear to be line up with what is on the web
page link for RC2 that you posted.

If there are actual problems, you will see errors in Help->Software
Updates->Manage Configuration. Be sure to click the action button for
"Show disabled features".

Hello Cameron,

thanks for your answers.
I have identified a problem with the
" org.eclipse.datatools.sqltools.sqleditor.attachProfileAction ".

I got the problem, when I tried to work through the Cheat Sheets for JPA
"Create a JPA"
in the first step:
Setup the Environment -> click to perform.

So the view in "Help -> About Eclipse -> Plugin Details" at the topic
Eclipse Data Tools Platform SQL Editor has a cross behind the medal :-(

"Signed" (i.e. "have digital signature intact") has nothing to do with
plugin stability, compatability or anything else. It is some kind of
plugin authorization mechanism for eclipse. If i understand it right,
eclipse.org should be organization that can add digital signature to
plugin. It tells eclipse (IDE this time) that plugin that name itself say
"org.apache.someplug" is really "org.apache.someplug" and not
"net.hacks.fraudplug".

The same way you can read letter from your friend that don't have his/her
signature. Without signature the letter can still be written by him/her,
but you cannot be 100% sure.
