Hello

I am very new to UML2tools. Currently i am working on an application that
needs to read various state diagrams designed in topcased or eclipseUML
and then extract the model informations out of it like state ids, state
names, transition ids ect.
Can anyone help me out how to load the diagram in the application and then
parse it to get the required informations.

Thanking you

Hem

Hello Hemant,

The model information is stored in *.uml file, which EMF-based UML implementation
from UML2 project(http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT-UML2). Therefore, you can use
EMF API to extract required information.

http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/uml2/docs/articles/Getti ng_Started_with_UML2/article.html
- is a good article on basics of working with UML models.

Best wishes,
Tatiana.
