Is it possible to background parse the code (for errors) with a freeware
COBOL compiler?

The real compile is done on a mainframe which is linked to Eclipse via FTP.

Hello Ali.

Unfortunately, Eclipse COBOL Plug-in doesn't support "background parse"
(i.e. on-the-fly compile).

Although COBOL Plug-in is designed to use with a Fujitsu COBOL compiler,
the COBOL compiler doesn't provide on-the-fly compiling nor parsing.
