Add existing java project from command line [message #467278] Fri, 27 January 2006 15:06 Go to next message

Hello,

I would like to add an existing Java project to a new eclipse workspace from
the command line. I already use "-data workspace" to open the desired
workspace, but can't add the existing project because there is no metadata
information... Is there anyway to do this? I thought of editing the metadata
also, but the .tree file that contains the resources information isn't
possible to edit...

I just want to open eclipse with an existing Java project on it, without
having opened it before...

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

You should ask the platform newsgroup rather than the SWT newsgroup. (But what you're looking for is File->Import Existing Project Into Workspace.)

Alex.
