Hi,

I'd like to create disabled icons based on normal enabled icons.
Therefore, when looking at this doc.
( http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-UI-Guidelines/Index. html) , hi
created new images using a 2-color greyscale palette. The result is
good, but when looking at eclipse standard icons (for example the toggle
mark lamp) i see that disabled icons use a 8-color greyscale palette.
Is the documentation mentioned out of date (is was for eclipse 2.1) ?
what's the recommendation now for disabled icon color palette ?

Regards,
Nicolas.

You will probably get a better response to the question - what processes are
used to create the disabled images in Eclipse - on the eclipse.platform
newsgroup.
