I see an interface: ITableColorProvider but there seems to be no way to
set it on the table - no method setColorProvider.
I am using eclipse 3.1.1.
Please help!

implement it in your labelprovider:

yourlabelprovider implements ITableLabelProvider, ITableColorProvider

and then set it to the viewer:

tableviewer.setLabelProvider(yourlabelprovider)

You need to use a JFace TableViewer to use ITableColorProvider .
