The short answer is 'unfortunately, no.'

This is because since SWT peers to native widgets, it can't really go that far beyond what the native platforms support. I can't think of a single platform which supports the feature you mentioned.

I would suggest you roll your own emulated solution or use SWT_AWT to use Swing if it's easier.
