Hello Team,
I have a question concerning the Walk-thru documentation.
Section 1.1 of the Introduction to Using TPTP's Automated GUI Recorder
has the following statement:
"Important: Ensure that the automated GUI recorder plug-in is placed
in the 'plugin' directory of the Eclipse workbench that will be used as
the context for running test suites. The code that begins the execution
of test suites is a startup code that detects the execution of automated
test suites and gives control over to the test runner. Do not run this
in a runtime Eclipse workbench. This is expected to change in the future."

How can I not 'run this in a runtime Eclipse workbench if I have to
ensure that the automated GUI recorder plug-in is placed in the
"plug-in" directory of the Eclipse workbench that will be used as the
context for running test suites'?

Any clarification would be helpful. Thank you and have a great day.

The purpose of the noted paragraph is for users not to just import the
plug-in into their workspace and run a self-hosted workbench. The standard
launch of test suites will not work in the self-hosted workbench because the
runner will look for the auto gui plugin under the plugin directory of
Eclipse.
Everything should work fine as long as you have the auto gui plugin under
<ECLIPSE_HOME>\plugin.
