The JSR220-ORM project has merged with the Dali project. Below is a repost
of the announcement from the JSR220-ORM newsgroup.

------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------

All,

The Eclipse community plays a significant role in helping developers adopt
new Java specifications to help them become more productive. The new EJB 3.0
(JSR 220) specification promises to significantly simplify the development
process for enterprise applications. The desire to help developers by
providing tooling to support this emerging standard resulted in two
different projects emerging that ultimately shared the same goal. While both
projects have their merits, the Eclipse community is best served by having
the two teams work together in a single project.

Today we are announcing that the members of the JSR-220 ORM project and Dali
will be working together to deliver EJB 3.0 frameworks and tools for
Eclipse. The Dali project will serve as the home for this combined effort.
The former JSR220-ORM team led by Versant will focus on Database Model
Services for project Dali. The original Dali team members from Oracle,
JBoss, and BEA (formerly Solarmetric) will focus on the Core Model and
annotation\XML GUI editors. Oracle will continue to lead the project.

As a result of this merger, the Eclipse community can expect to see some
changes over the next few months. For example, in the coming weeks, you
will find the JSR220-ORM code base moved into the Dali CVS where it will
remain available for continued use. New feature development on the unified
code base will resume once integration is complete. We will be publishing
roadmap milestones via the Dali website in the next few weeks.

The project website will remain available for reference over the next 30
days and then will be closed. Future community interaction should be done
via the <a

dali">Dali project newsgroup.</a>.

The JSR220-ORM team appreciates your continued support was we transition to
a unified project with Dali.
