This project so far seems very much dead on arrival. Can anyone
invovled comment on the lack of movement? The last posting, other than
mine, was nearly a month ago.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. More importantly, I apologize for the appearance of
inactivity. Work continues on an initial contribution to the project inside
IBM against the Web Tools project codebase which is also just getting
started. My hope is that we'll have a roadmap for everyone's perusal soon so
that you're not left with the impression that we're standing still. If it
helps, I'm as eager as you are to get to a CVS tree! In the meantime, we're
here listening.

It's good to hear that is some movement even if it is a s slow as
mollasses in the winter. Nonetheless, my company is looking towards
next year and what we will develop our tools on from a framework
perspective. Personally to me it is a no brainer to use eclipse, but I
have my own "mollasses in the winter" organization to deal with.
Nonetheless, it would be helpful to see even from a draft plan
Blueperspective (no pun intended) what is the likely scope. Is it just
an optimized VXML editor? Are there special perspectives? What about
grammars and builders? How will problem markers be integrated?
Thoughts on graphical drag-n-drop editors to create a vxml call flow?
Questions like these are what I expected to see floated around here even
without any defined codebase contributions.

Also is it really necessary to wait for a technology contribution from
Big Blue? The pollinate project used an external cvs server for months
before they were officially approved. If that's the big blocker then a
sourceforge project would suffice until cleared by eclipse or even a
private cvs repo.
