I recently configured a new Linux machine from scratch. I installed SVN
on the machine and then Eclipse 3.4.1 and the latest version Subversive,
client drivers (0.7.5 with 2.0.5).

I tried to configure a repository as:

svn+ssh://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/tools/org.eclipse.buckmins ter

I entered user name and password in the dialog and the Finish ("Validate
Repository Location on finish" was checked). A strange thing happened. I
get a dialog prompt, apparently from OpenSSH where I'm ask to enter
password to login to a non existing account!

Apparently it thinks that I have the same user name on dev.eclipse.org
and my local machine. That is not the case. The user name that I just
entered in the Subversive dialog is not used. The problem doesn't stop
there because no matter what I enter, if I click cancel, or if I click
OK, the dialog continues to pop-up. After some number of attempts, my
IP-adress gets locked out from Eclipse.org.

As I said, this is a clean install on an empty Linux box. What am I
supposed to do to avoid this?

Regards,
