Hi,

I wish to use the uml2 tools to document use-cases for a client. Where
can I find documentation, tutorials, or samples on how to use the
use-case diagram tools?

Currently using docbook as a framework for documentation and would like
to add to the eclipse-help and pdf artifacts created by my documentation
build use-case diagrams created from uml2 tools. Can anyone recommend
'best-practices' for integrating the use-case diagrams created with the
uml2 tools with external textual documentation like docbook?

thanks for any help or suggestions,

cheers,
John

There are several good tutorials on the web regarding generic use-case
diagrams. With those I have been able to get going with the diagramming
tool. I like it. Too bad I didn't encounter it sooner as it is very
easy to create quick diagrams and then export them to bitmaps. (Haven't
tried the svg exports though.)

Once exported I just resize them with a bit map editor like the gimp and
reference them in my docbook text.

Fairly straight forward (unless I am missing something?)

thanks for the great tool,
John
