The deadline for EclipseCon 2008 submissions is rapidly approaching.
Don't wait until the last minute. At the very least, plan ahead to
avoid the stress!

http://www.eclipsecon.org/2008/index.php?page=submissions/

There are slots for eight two hour tutorials with two presenters getting
free admission; tutorial attendance is included in the price of
admission so expect a large turnout. There are five long talks, with
one presenter getting free admission. And there are ten short talks,
but I don't recall if there is a discount on attendance.

Last I checked, there weren't any submissions yet :'( but all the tracks
seem to be in the same boat. :-P I understand it's common for most of
the submissions to arrive on the last day. But why wait? :-\ I'll be
very disappointed and embarrassed if we don't use all our valuable
slots. :-[

Check out all the fun stuff you might miss if you don't come.

Modeling Community,

I'm very pleased that EclipseCon 2008 submissions have really picked up:

https://eclipsecon.greenmeetingsystems.com/submissions

At this very moment 15% of the submissions are about modeling. But
there's only one more week left for submissions so opportunities
remain. If you are planning to attend EclipseCon but aren't planning
to give a talk, I strongly urge you to consider giving at least a short
talk about the cool things you are working on. They're only ten minutes
so the preparation time is minimal and it will given everyone an
opportunity to find out about what you are working on. It's a great way
to hook up with people with similar interests; meeting people at
EclipseCon is half the fun. So please consider participating and
sharing a little of yourself with the community. You'll be glad you did!

Modeling Community,

Because I answer so many questions on the newsgroup I believe I have a
large supply of "get away with SPAM free" cards. :-P

The submission deadlines are closing in quickly so I wanted to try one
last time to encourage folks to give short talks. A short talk will
earn you a 20% discount on admission and there are lots of slots left
for this category How else can you get paid $200 for ten minutes to
yacking? You'll feel like one of those high priced consultants with
folks eagerly hanging on your every word. 8-)

admission so expect a large turnout. &nbsp; There are five long talks, with
one presenter getting free admission.&nbsp; And there are ten short talks,
but I don't recall if there is a discount on attendance.<br>
<br>
Last I checked, there weren't any submissions yet<span

seem to be in the same boat. <span class="moz-smiley-s4"><span> :-P </span></span>&nbsp;
I understand it's common for most of the submissions to arrive on the
last day.&nbsp; But why wait?&nbsp;<span class="moz-smiley-s7"><span> :-\ </span></span>
I'll be very disappointed and embarrassed if we don't use all our

Modeling Community,

Because I answer so many questions on the newsgroup I believe I have a
large supply of "get away with SPAM free" cards. :-P

The submission deadlines are closing in quickly so I wanted to try one
last time to encourage folks to give short talks. A short talk will
earn you a 20% discount on admission and there are lots of slots left
for this category How else can you get paid $200 for ten minutes to
yacking? You'll feel like one of those high priced consultants with
folks eagerly hanging on your every word. 8-)

At this very moment 15% of the submissions are about modeling. &nbsp; But
