I have repeatedly seen this problem and am unsure where it's coming from.
Incoming changesets are missing files. http://4st.org/mylar.jpg shows
incoming changeset 21 as having only 2 deletions, but looking at the trac
page (http://4st.org/trac.jpg) for the same changeset shows many more
changes. I suppose it could be mylyn, the subclipse connector, or
something I've done. In this example I'm using pydev, but I've seen it in
the java perspective as well. I haven't been able to find a bug in
bugs.eclipse.org or a mention of this elsewhere. Is this a known issue?

Install log is at http://4st.org/install_log.html

Thanks, Jay

If you are using Subclipse then I think I can safely say you are not alone.
I'm not sure if it is a known problem in the sense that anyone has owned up
to it. The balance of opinion seems to be with Subclipse rather than Mylyn,
and I know quite a few people who have given up using the Team Synchronizing
features in Eclipse (you need the plugin to support refactoring, but you can
always do the commits outside Eclipse). It sucks. Is Subversive any
better?

Mylyn has no role in the display of incoming changesets.

Subclipse only shows a file in the synchronize view one time. So if it
was changed in r21, r26 and r27 it will only show in the r27 grouping.
