When I try to use the Subversion 1.5 feature with 1 URL I do not get the
expected result. I created a simple project in trunk and then created a
branch. I then made a change in the trunk and attempted to merge the
change into the branch. When I exercise the Team => Merge option with the
project under branch and attempt the merge nothing happens at all.

I then tried using command line svn 1.5 which worked correctly, but then
Eclipse Subversive gives an error indicating that the connector SVNKit
1.2.0 is too old.

So my real question is "Is Subversive (latest 10/1 update) ready for prime
time use with Merge Tracking?"

Perhaps I don't understand how to use this feature? However it's very easy
to use the command line version of merge so I don't know what I might be
doing wrong.

If this version of Subversive is not ready, when will Subversive be ready
for general use?

It turned out that my installation was messed up somehow. Probably
affected by an older installation of Subversive?

I did a clean installation with Eclipse JEE 3.3.2 and the Subversive
updates found at the following links:

Subversive 0.7.4.I20081001-1900

< http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update -site/>

Subversive connectors

< http://www.polarion.com/products/svn/subversive.php?src=ecli pseproject>

Once I had a clean installation, the merge tracking feature started to
work as advertised.
