Hi,

I want to change the default "Group by" setting of the problem view in my RCP application.
By default, the problem view groups problems by Severity but I would prefer by Type.

How could I change this default setting? Or how could I set this setting dynamically when
the view open the first time?

Sorry, I also post this mail in the RCP new groups, but I didn't receive answer.

Thanks

Vincent

AFAIK, there is no way of changing that. The problems view defaults to
group by severity and the "Markers" view defaults to group by Type.

Hi Hitesh,

It could be useful in future to add extention point to the problem view to configure these
settings (group by, sort by, filters) especially in RCP application.

From my point of view, I'm not sure it will be a good idea to create a custom problem
view in my RCP application since I won't benefit of the features of the problem view (sort
by, filters, group by, ...). And when new features will be available in the problem view,
I will have to port all these new functionallities to my application.

Thanks,

Vincent
