I imported a 'Team Project Set' which includes an 'Update Site' Project.

I have setup a samba share where the update site should be written to.

After importing the 'Team Project Set' how do I reconfigure the 'Update
Site' location to use the mount point of the samba share?

I right clicked the 'Update Site' project, selected move, and gave the
path to my mount point, but this results in the error:

Problems encountered while moving resources.
Could not move '/my.example.updatesite'.
Could not move: /home/john/workspace/my.example.updatesite.
Parent of resource: /home/john/smb_mountpoint/my.example.updatesite/web is marked as read-only.

The project description file (.project) for 'my.example.updatesite' is missing.
This file contains important information about the project.
The project will not function properly until this file is restored.

Permissions seam permissive:
drwxrwxr-x john users /home/john/smb_mountpoint/my.example.updatesite
drwxr-xr-x john users /home/john/smb_mountpoint/my.example.updatesite/web
-rwxrwxr-x john users /home/john/smb_mountpoint/my.example.updatesite/.project
drwxr-xr-x john users /home/john/workspace/my.example.updatesite
drwxr-xr-x john users /home/john/workspace/my.example.updatesite/web
-rw-r--r-- john users /home/john/workspace/my.example.updatesite/.project

I can create and delete files and directories manually on the share...

What should I do?

Sorry... the only thing that ended up on the samba mount is:
-rwxrwxr-x john users /home/john/smb_mountpoint/my.example.updatesite/.project

I would use the OS file management tools to copy all of the files of the
project to where you want them, then delete the project from your
Eclipse workspace. Finally, File > Import > "Existing project into
workspace" and point it to where you copied it to.

Hope this helps,
Eric
