Eclipse Webtools servers.xml file [message #233341]

I am using Eclipse 3.4.2 (Ganymede SR2) with Eclipse Webtools 3.0.4

When I add a server (File --> New --> Server), the new server is added
to the servers.xml file.

The servers.xml file is located in
$WORKSPACE/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core

Since the servers.xml file is treated as workspace metadata, I don't
have an easy way to store the file in version control.

Is there a way to store servers.xml in an Eclipse project (in the
Servers project?) and store the file under version control?
