I'd like to devote some of my available time and effort towards contributing to Eclipse (I'm a happy CDT user, and past user of the JDT), but I'm not sure what projects or areas have active committers who are able and interested in accepting contributions. I've submitted a few (very small) patches (which haven't yet been committed), and got a few encouraging comments, but I'm still rather at a loss as to where I might best help.

I'd like to help with the platform (which is why I'm posting here), but I'm open to helping wherever I can be of use. Let me know if this message would be better addressed elsewhere.
