To those who may kindly answer my question,

I am trying to profile a Java application of mine. For efficiency, I had
the profiling data sent to a file. However, the TPTP will not import the
file.

Specifically, I have followed the instructions in the help documentation
(Monitoring and profiling applications > Profiling an application >
Working with profiling resources > Importing profiling resources), but
when I click "Finish" nothing happens except a brief CPU spike. It appears
to be dying silently; no error dialog is presented and nothing is printed
on the parent terminal.

This happens regardless of whether I try to import the *.trcxml file or
the contents extracted (unzipped) from it.

Is there something I am missing and should be doing differently? Is this a
bug?

Thanks much for clarifying the situation.

Sincerely,

Aubrey Barnard
