Hello everybody.

I have been trying to run AGR under Europa and TPTP 4.4, but I am having
exactly the same hang problem as that reported by Chalmers Wang in
thread "AGR 4.4 hangs in standard mode". My simple test runs in quick
mode, but hangs at 36% when played back in standard mode.

I see that Chalmers' solution was that of installing the WTP Eclipse
package, but I really do not want to do that as I do not need WTP and I
prefer to stay with the standard Europa distribution.

I have run the Launch Doctor and attempted to run java from the command
line, using the parameters listed in the Launch Doctor's log file, as
Joe recommended.

However my command line java execution returns after a couple of seconds
without doing anything. No errors are generated, no Eclipse workbench is
instantiated and no data directory is created (in my java command line I
have the -data option specified).

What next?

One interesting thing that I noticed is that, in the Launch Doctor's log
file, the same block of information, from "Launch started!" to
"DataProcessors initialised", is repeated twice. Does this mean anything
or is it normal?

TIA,
B.
