Integrated Agent Controller not enabled? [message #74567] Sat, 17 June 2006 12:41 Go to previous message

Hi!

I'm a TPTP (4.1, callisto) noob and spend an hour trying to get the Profiler
to work with a simple local application.

1) IAC seems to be disabled. In Preferences the enable checkbox (and
everything else on the page) is not clickable.

2) In the Profile As dialog I don't have a Profile tab but a Monitor tab.

3) Preferences > Profiling and Loggin > Hosts: Local Direct Connection and
localhost:10002 show up. When I test the connection the latter one I get the
same error message I get when I try actually profile: IWAT0284E: The agent
controller is not available on host localhost.

When I try to connect to Local Direct Connection a message popups up that a
remote agent controller (RAC) is already running. Well, this and 1) would
explain the problem somehow but how do I fix it? I didn't start any remote
agent controller...

Thanks a lot!
Timo
