Hi all,

Today I stumbled upon BIRT and saw that the 3.7 release is able to communicate with Hive 0.7.0 (clouderas cdh3u0 release). I've tried setting this up, but I have been unlucky so far. When I setup a data source select hive and add the jars that are shown on the "Notable 3.7" page, testing the connection doesn't give any feedback. When I finish creating the datasource and want to add a data set, clicking Finish does nothing.

I have a hive server running on port 10000 and with a commandline tool, I'm able to query hive tables.

Does anyone know where I can look for errors or have a set of hive jars that are supposed to work?
