Hi
I accidentally clicked on validate on a JSP file in my project and got a
number of errors in the Problems view. Also the navigator adds the error
indicator for the file and for the project. How can I remove the
validation for that file?
In older versions of eclipse there was a context menu option "clear
validate" that used to remove these errors.

a simple filtering from the problems view will leave the problem
indicators for the project, and that - i don't want.

I think I know what you're saying. It would appear that WTP 3.0 has
answers for this, but I found my answer prior to its (very recent) release.

Right-click on your project, choose Validation near the bottom of the
left-hand column. Click Override validation preferences, then click OFF
the validation you do not want to happen.

Now, how to choose which validation to lose. I did it by trial and
error. In my JSP files, most of the ones I had were due to the HTML
Syntax Validator.
