I posted to eclipse.platform but got no answer so I believe I posted
to the wrong group so repost here.
In preference -> color and font
I found one 'Part title font' to control the view and editor titles font
and one 'View message font' to control the messages in the view title bar,
but which one to control the font for the real body of java doc messages?
thanks

Hi,
I think there was a misunderstanding. Metfan, wanted to know how to
change the font in the javadoc _view_ not the font of the javadoc in the
editor.
That would be interesting for me too.
The current setting (running Eclipse M9) looks like the HTML rendering
of the javadoc as if the standard doclet was used with hyperlinks in
fixed-width. The default font seems to be a serif font (Times ?). It is
a little bit small, and I'd like to change the font too.
I would be glad if someone knew how to change these settings. Now that
code folding is added, I usually collapse the comments and look at the
javadoc view.
Thank you,
Kariem
