Cannot add jars in build path [message #963934]

Hi, I am trying to add one jar (jftp.jar) in my build path using Project[right click] --> build path --> configure build path-->add jars
when i add a jar it shows up in the jars windows but when i check it in referenced libraries its not present.

Again when i follow the same steps to check if the jar is present or not surprisingly jar is not there.

Sad

Please help.

PS : I am using eclipse 3.4.1 version.
