Hi,

I'm new to NatTable and trying to open the NatTableExamples by the http://eclipse.org/nattable/documentation.php?page=getting_started .
Now I got the 2 SWT jars simply from the eclipse directory (on my pc) and copied this to a folder with the "NatTableExamples-0.9.0.jar" and "org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.nattable.core-0.9.0.jar".

Started this in cmd with

java -jar org.eclipse.swt_3.100.1.v4234e.jar;org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.100.1.v4234e.jar;NatTableExamples-0.9.0.jar org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.nattable.examples.NatTableExamples

gives me the following error:

Error: Unable to access jarfile org.eclipse.swt_3.100.1.v4234e.jar;org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.100.1.v4234e.jar;NatTableExamples-0.9.0.jar

I also tried with adding spaces after the ;.

I searched some more and found the "NatTableExamples.jnlp", but this thing looks like its starting, asks to accept the risk of running that application, but after accepting that I get the message that it is

Unable to launch the application

.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,

are org.eclipse.swt_3.100.1.v4234e.jar and org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.100.1.v4234e.jar at the same directory? Or at least within the classpath? Otherwise your java command is not able to find those jars.

I copied all the (3) jars to 1 directory.

Finally got some result, I created a project for testing, added the 4 needed libs and then started the NatTableBuilderExample.main(args).
After that I searched for the NAtTableExamples, and finally it looks like it working. Not really how it should work but I have results Smile

I can continue! Smile

Hi,

sorry, we are investigating about this. Normally it should work as described. But I also have the same issue, doesn't know why. We will post here after we have found the solution.

I also had some trouble getting it to work, but I think I solved it by excluding swt.jar from the classpath.

I ended up starting it with the following:

java -cp C:\Eclipse_4_2_RC3\plugins\org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_64_3.100.0.v4232d.jar;NatTableExamples-0.9.0.jar org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.nattable.examples.NatTableExamples
