Hi,
I use eclipse in windows with
Cp1252 encoding;
No when I try to read in Linux the files I edited in windows
I get gibrish in some places.
Can I have in Linux an encoding which will read these Cp1252 files?
I tried all the encodings I have in Linux, but in all of them I had
gibrish.
Any ideas ? is it possible to have Cp1252 encoding (or Cp1252 compatible encoding)
in Linux ?
rgs,
Kevin

Yes, most VMs support that encoding on Linux. The encoding might not be
available in the drop-down, but you can simply enter the name via keyboard.
Also note, that if you use/share a project on different OSes, it is
recommended to set the encoding on the project. That will make sure that
the same encoding is automatically used.
