Hi all,

I am curious if it is possible to use Epsilon Validation on EMF generated editor?
If yes, where I can find an example? Or what are the steps to accomplish that...

I saw that the Epsilon Validation constraints and critiques are available and executed correctly in the EMF generated editor too, but I am missing the Label Decorators...

I am forgetting something?!

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by "Label Decorators". Could you please elaborate a bit more on this?

Hi Dimitris,

What I meant is described in more details here: http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-Decorators/decorators.html. But it seems I wrote my question in too much of a hurry - it seems that it was never really provided as a feature by the EMF Validation for the EMF generated editors (see: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/417956/), although I found it very intuitive to have as well as useful! But that discussion would belong to another forum...

Another issue was that I was not sure if the Epsilon Validation would be "found" for the EMF Editor, but it does - just I had to select the root! Here I would appreciate if Epsilon Validation supports "partial" validation... Are there any plans about that?! Or shall I fill an enhancement request... This would also relate to the other question I posted almost simultaneously (http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/246423/) on validation on multiple diagrams or a diagram that does not correspond to the root of a model.
