Hi all,

Just grabbed Eclipse Helios and I'm trying to start playing around with it. One thing I need to be able to do is build on remote hosts, so I downloaded the various RSE plugins for Helios.

Unfortunately, if I go to Window->Open Perspective->Other, there is no RSE perspective (or anything that could be interpreted as such) listed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Lou,

I'm not sure what's wrong in you case. I used the SDK
( http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/dsdp/tm/ downloads/drops/R-3.2-201006071030/RSE-SDK-3.2.zip)
with Eclipse 3.6 and had no problems with the RSE perspective. Perhaps it's
not visible due to a disabled capability; to check that, go to
Preferences->General->Capabilities.
