Nick,

The XSD project doesn't provide that action. Maybe the web tools
project does. I've added it to the "to" list of the reply.

Nick, yes there are some limitations in the WTP XSD to XML instance
generator.
I have opened this bugzilla
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=297594 to track the problem.
