Hi,

i am currently playing around with the APIRecorder to create a simple
trace/callgraph of a JUnit-Test. Works fine with JDK 1.4 now i would like to
use the newer JVMTI Interfaces but did not manage to get that running.

Somewhere in Bugzilla, Newsgroup or Mailinglist i read that the APIRecorder
has been applied to JVMTI in TPTP4.4 already, is that correct? The same
question for the internal AgentController.

Could you please clarify things a bit. Thanks a lot,

Hi Thomas,
The API Recorder is available in 4.4 as a Technology Preview. It is
build on the TPTP Probekit which currently uses the JVMPI for event
notification. We are working toward migrating Probekit to use JVMTI for
event notification in TPTP V4.4:

Once this enhancement is completed, we will be able to use the API
Recorder with JVMTI/JRE 1.5.x.

The Integrated Agent Controller is being replaced in TPTP V4.4 by a
plug-in version of the existing Agent Controller which will support JVMTI:
