Hi all,
is it possible (or has it already been done) to dynamically pass resource files to a report without to much coding in birt.
For instance, our reports can be edited and are stored in a database (because they are stored on a server and launched with a rich client). It would be consistent to offer the possibility to edit the bundles for a report and store them in the database the same way. The resource files would be passed to the report as streams.

You can write your own resource locator, but currently it has to return a URL for specific resources. A good enhancement request would be for the resource locator interface to support streams.
