Hi,

I have a question regarding sortable columns in a TableViewer.

I currently have implemented sorting and it shows the up and down icons when a column is sorted. I have some columns that are not sortable though, and I would like to convey to the user what columns are sortable. Are there any ways RAP currently supports this?

Ideas where to change the background or image of not sortable columns, or have some indicator in the text of the column, but those are not desirable solutions.

I have seen some solutions that have both the up and down arrow displayed for the column header, and then the arrows will be bolded when sorted up or down. This way it is clear that the columns withough the up/down arrow are not sortable.

Any suggestion?

Thank you in advance.
