folks:

I have recently upgraded to eclipse Juno, and when I start the JBoss 6.x app server, the console shows (relatively) low values for -XXMaxPermGen memory.

changing values in Jboss' run.conf file, in eclipse.ini and in my shell JAVA_OPTS environment variable have no effect.

Can someone tel me where these values are set? I have googled for answers and grepped my files system looking for the source of these values, to no avail.

any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

They are located in the eclipse.ini file in the same directory as the executable.
