Hey guys

I am the new guy and here is my problem:

I tried to build a vocable-trainer. There for I also implemented a kana-trainer to train Hiragana and Katana.

As I tried to show some test-kanas a weird failure occured.

The hiragana is replaced by a white rectangle. I replaced the JTextField with JLabel. JTextArea nothing happened.
I printed the Kana with System.out.println("\u3042"); it worked. Just the Swing-Text is affected. UTF-8 is set. I changed the Fonts. No advantage.

I use:
Fedora 17
Eclipse Juno
JDE 1.7
