I would like to use the Orion editors with (existing) files that have other extensions than the default ones. Where is the mapping configured?

Hi,

The mapping of file-to-editor is handled by 2 services, so associating a new file type with the Orion Editor is a 2-step process:

  1. Contribute a content type ID for the file type using the orion.core.contenttype service. (example)
  2. Associate your new content type with the Orion Editor using the orion.file.openWith service. (example)
