i am new to modisco. i am trying to get an uml model from a java project. so far i "discovered" the kdm model.
now i have a file <project>_kdm.xmi opened in editor. the problem is the file is not present in filesystem (searched with file search - no result, Project Explorers "link with editor" also shows no link).
So what to do with this file (all save options are greyed out in "File" menu)

(in eclipse i installed uml2 tools sdk, pypyrus and modisco)

solved it my self: "serialize" must be set to true
