How to create a user defined attribute [message #878982]

Hi~

I have met a situation that i could not add an attribute as a user-defined type.

For example:
There are two classes named Person and Motor.
In class Motor, I want to add an attribute named man whose type is Person.
However, there is no "Person" type in the field of EType that I can choose.

So my question is, does Ecore tool not offer such function to a designer to do so?

If Ecore tool does, how can I add an user-defined type attribute successfully?

Hi,

you would have to create your own datatype with the corresponding tool from the palette (EDatatype) and then you should be able to refers to it from your EAttribute.
