Hi,
I trying to parse a dmp heapdump (IBM core dump). It size is 1Gb. But MAT raises a OOM "Java heap space".

I've tunning JVM with different memory configurations but it always crash.

The machine where i test it is a linux 64b with 6Gb, and MAT configuration that i use for run:

-vmargs -Xmx3g -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit -XX:PermSize=1g

Anyone know how i can parse it or maybe i can't do it?

Is this a PHD or a system core dump?
I have reduced the memory requirements of MAT - see defect 374960: OutOfMemoryError parsing large DTFJ PHD file.
Try a latest development build to see if that helps.

Hi Andrew,
It's a system core dump (DMP).
I'm using MemoryAnalyzer-1.1.1.20110824-linux.gtk.x86_64 to parser, i think it's the last build, right?
