How can I disable tooltips in the properties window ( or any window for that matter ) when laying out frames and panels ? I have been programming for over 20 years and it is a natural habit for me to move the mouse over things I am reading. The tooltips keep popping up and obscuring the text I am trying to read.

There is no option to do that. This would be a very easy preference to add for someone who wants to make a contribution to the WB code base.
