Table cell background overlaps with the grid lines [message #742500]

I searched the forum for this issue, surprised I could not find it.
The issue is that when I set background color for my individual cells, the background color overlaps with the grid lines, as a result of which the grid lines are not visible. I need the grid lines for better visibility. I also do not want to custom draw my cells. Any alternative to achieve this?
