EPF Wiki standard text changes / cache [message #724896]

I have made changes to the standard text in our EPF Wiki installation. Some of the changes have made it out to the Wiki site; others have not. The editing page for the standard text indicates that caching may impact the publication behavior.

I would like to be able to modify the caching / publication behavior to be more predictable and immediate.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Jim,

There is a line

@admin_message.update_attributes(params[:admin_message])

in method adminmessage in file app/controllers/users_controller.rb

if you put the a call to expire_all_pages after that line and restart the webserver, then all pages will expire after you update a standard text.

expire_all_pages

Should do the trick but I haven't tested it.
