I have to add terminals view window to a customized view in eclipse, let us call x view. The terminal will be a remote system. And many terminals can be added to the x view. I have a set of remote systems and the credentials.

How can I create a terminal (as it appears in rse view) and add it to my x view. I tried to find out the classes involved in terminals view using plugin spy but it does not work.

any pointers will be helpful

Hello,
have you looked at the org.eclipse.rse.terminals.ui plugin?
The TerminalViewTab.java embeds a terminal widget.
