Hi,

I want to use [CNF] CommonViewer functionality providing project/resource management in the workspace. I can plugin my own navigatorContent extensions for my specific file types. What I am struggling with is how to use custom icon for my file types (or file extensions) without extending CommonViewer and its content and label providers. Is there a way via 'plugin.xml'?

You will need to provide your own LabelProvider and extend the WorkbenchLabelProvider. that should be all that's necessary.
